This Sunday we begin a new Advent series, “The Songs of Christmas.” We will be looking at three songs in Luke 1-2 that teach us important truths about Jesus and the meaning and purpose of his incarnation. We will begin with the song of Mary (Luke 1:46-55). Mary was a young woman with deep theological understanding and her inspired song tells us about the salvation that her unborn son would bring. We can rejoice with her in God’s gift of salvation.
