Father Jacob, having come to the end of his life, gathers his sons together for his blessing. But his words are more than a blessing. They are the prophetic word of God for the future. In these words, we hear warnings for us about the consequences of sin but also about the grace of God. By the grace of God through Jesus, even the consequences of our sin God can redeem for our good and his glory.
